The 2-3 year old room:
As of September 2022, we have a new room for 2-3 year olds. You can view the room here. If your child turns 3 after the 31st August, then please register your interest.
Tithe Barn Preschool
At Tithe Barn Preschool we strive to create a warm and stimulating environment where every child loves to learn. We engage in activities that promote and extend children’s learning through play and exploration. We encourage children to grow in confidence, self esteem and independence and we will nurture your child’s social and emotional skills. The Preschool is set in the iconic Tithe Barn in Bishop’s Cleeve, and prides itself on its intimate environment. With only 20 places available in our Preschool Room and 16 in our Rising 3s Room, we ensure the highest quality of teaching and learning is embedded within our children so they are ‘school ready’.

It’s really important when choosing childcare to look around all different settings to find the one that feels right for you and your child. You need to know that you are leaving your child with the best possible people that will nurture and care for them, whilst preparing them for their educational journey ahead.
The benefits of choosing the Tithe Barn Preschool are that we have an amazing ratio of one member of staff to every five children, one to four in our Rising 3s Room. The majority of our staff team are Qualified Teachers with either Early Years, Forest School, PE, Mindfulness or Communication specialisms. To register interest in your child joining Tithe Barn Preschool, please click here. Please be aware that we have one in take a year in September. We rarely have spaces for children to start in January or April.
Funding and Prices
We accept the 15 Hours and 30 Hours Government Funding for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. The term after your child turns 2, they are eligible for the Universal 15 Hours Funding and parents can check their eligibility for the 30 Hours Funding on the Childcare Choices website.
We charge £5.56 per hour for Non-Funded preschool children (aged 3 – 4 years olds) and £6.30 per day for Funded children (Please see Parents T&Cs Policy for more information).
Early Learners (2-3 year olds) places are £6.03 per hour.
